ABOUT ME

I was diagnosed with anorexia when I was 15, and have spent over 5 years battling my way through hospital admissions, therapy and relapses. Throughout this, I have seen the way in which the diet of a recovering eating disorder patient is handled by various treatment teams and professionals. Although significant in a patient’s care, the approach often removes all pleasure from eating, making it seem like a daily chore, and something with produces anxiety. I want to use my experience to alter the way in which we view our eating habits and diet in recovery. Food should be fun, exciting and challenge you in your rehabilitation. It is my goal to share nutritious recipes with you, which have the ability to aid your physical health recuperation, but also allow for experimentation in the kitchen, all whilst providing you with a balanced diet
